Ft. Payne, Alabama, cool morning and 70° today which is perfect weather for the hike we plan.

This was a narrow switch back road. There is a campground in here. I hope there was an easy way in because we wouldn’t want to drive our RV on it.
Made it down the mountain and boy was the view of the waterfall top & bottom worth it.

No easy hike for old folks
1.5 ROCKY miles to the bottom and when you walk down guess what you have to walk back up.🥵

We made it, pretty tired but still smiling😍( with no ticks! Gross but I am a tick magnet. I have found 5 CRAWLING on me this trip. ) Infestation signs at the beach!🏖️
