Today is a mix of sadness & excitement. Our journey takes us & the Kirkpatrick’s in separate directions. They travel on one way and we head in another. They are still seeing things they’ve never seen and we start our journey back home, ( dr. Appt.) my heart is absolutely overflowing with gratitude. As I look back on the incredible trip we just shared I want to write a true note of praise.
First and foremost, thanks be to God for His hand of protection over us. I am so grateful for the safe travels, the beautiful weather, and the endless wonders of His creation we got to witness every single day. He truly blessed our path and gave us the gifts of rest, and adventure.
But above the beautiful sights, I realize God’s hand in the blessing of these past five weeks. Who can orchestrate 2 couples spending over 5 weeks together in compatibility! Traveling closely with anyone for that long is a true test of a relationship, and this trip only showed me how rare and precious friendship is. Thanks Debbye & Bill for letting us share this trip , for your flexibility, and the laughter that filled miles of road.
Thank you for being wonderful travel partners . We will be bringing home unforgettable memories and I thank God !
