The town has suffered from drought for 3 years. There were 2 snowfalls last year less than a foot deep. They usually have 8-10 feet in a normal winter. The corn and canola crops have suffered. (Oh, and not everyone hates Trump up here)
The Resturant chains are Tim Horton, Boston Pizza and A&W. After leaving the coast the food choices have been few . We try for local cuisine but it’s basic and lacking but we do cook at camp also.
