Gregg and I acquired a new puppy since our last post. We’ve decided to have a house and puppy sitter and leave them at home. National parks don’t allow dogs on trails ,so both Cameo and Agate will be left behind this time. (there may be some whining about this as the days go by, from both parties🤣)

We tried this trip in 2020 , well you know what happened and I’m not even gonna think about that from now on. As Gregg made the last minute inspection of our Vilano RV he discovered a gouge out of one of the tires ,so a quick trip to MWT tires in Stonewall got us ready with 4 new tires. We started out the trip as we ALWAYS do with a prayer for traveling grace knowing He has the control and putting our safety in His hands. Isaiah 26:3-4 “You, Lord, give true peace to those who depend on you, because they trust you. So, trust the Lord always, because he is our Rock forever.”

The temperature is starting out at 54° and promises to be a clear sunny day. We headed out a little later than usual (9:00 a.m.) because we’ve decided to go as far as Vernon, Tx the first day which is about 325 miles. Marcia and Wayne our tried and true traveling partners are traveling in their Montana with us. We also have Charolette and Jerry joining us in Kanab, Utah in a few days.

I have brought my dear friend #Loni Hodel’s book, #Miss Taken Identity, with me. She uses several types of birds as metaphors to expose the lies the enemy uses to steal how Father truly sees us. I plan to take it on all our journeys this year and pray I will come in contact with women who are in need of getting their true identity back. Pray with me , that Holy Spirit will guide me to each one.

These are just a few of the beautiful bluebonnets we saw on our travels today. Lady Bird Johnson ‘s idea of planting wild flowers sure helped the scenery of scrub brushes , mesquite trees and wind turbines.
Again So jealous Have a safe and venturous trip
