Been up and down this highway many times…it is only about 50 miles or so from Poudre Canyon Highway 14 that we stayed on…you should drive you that canyon..its beautiful and so is the Cache La Poudre River…..beautiful reservoirs at the top and you can drive across the tops of the mountain back down to Estes but it’s a long drive.
