Day 2 Wednesday July 02

Got a later start this morning at 9 a.m.

Driving 5 hours ,not counting stops, to stay overnight at Trailing Edge RV Park in Limon, Co.

It’s a clear day but the temperature is 94° in this open grassland. We are anxious to escape anything higher than 80°.

We passed the Petrified Wood Station. I have my thoughts about the whole 175 million years ago.🤯

Lamar’s Petrified Wood building started out as a gas station, built by lumber dealer W.G. Brown in 1932. The building walls and floors are constructed of large pieces of petrified wood over 175 million years old.

Our first ministry… I called the RV park to ask the owner a question and after she answer she shared that her car had broken down in heavy traffic in Denver and her husband was coming to get her with a trailer to bring the car back. I told her I was sorry and we would pray for her. She thanked me so much and that she would appreciate it. We all gathered together when we arrived and said a prayer for the safety of she and her husband. I let her know we had prayed and she then had another prayer request. Maybe our mission is going to be Prayer Warriors. Holy Spirit lead and guide us I pray.

The trip has had its challenges or adventures as we like to call them.

Key broken off in a RV door

A bedroom slide that won’t go out

A 4hr wait on the interstate for an accident (with fatalities that’ll sure make you think twice about complaining about the wait ☹️)

Thankfully we are all troopers and know that there is always something to be repaired when you bounce these babies down the road.
