The Washington Trip is finished but the memories will remain.

We saw beautiful mountains, waterfalls , lakes , sea creatures, forest, sea stacks and people. We saw a volcano that caused massive destruction when it erupted in 1980. Washington is known for being a rainy state and that it would rain every day but it DID NOT. One day we had a slight mist, and one day it got up to 86°. The locals thought they were having an unbearable heat wave but we in Louisiana know different.

Of course Dwayne talked to many people, actually everyone he saw.😜 He took every opportunity to speak Jesus. We was able to speak to one man in the airport and the German couple we met on the trail, and a group of ladies in a resturant, a female ex military/ hotel manager, and a couple of guys on the plane coming home. We are praying that something we relayed revived a hunger for the Savior.

I wish that we could bottle the smell of the ocean and the deep forest or the feel of cool water on your feet and the cushion soft carpet of the forest floor. I can not think of any of it without being filled with wonder, and praise to our Heavenly Father that allowed us this opportunity. As the girl in the airport said” Don’t say “goodbye” just say “ see you later or til next time” and that is how I will leave this..

P.S. A huge thank you to the caregivers Barbara, George and Chloe that took care of our homes and animals back home. 💕
