Maverick Ranch has been a great place to stay. It’s remote so not a lot of places to eat. Resturant at golf course, barbecue only open a few days a week, a bakery and pizza combo and I think that’s it. A couple of local convenience stores and gas station. Met new friends, Sheryl and Noel, neighbors at RV park. Sheryl has a cousin in Shreveport. What are the odds of that? They’ve been full time for 2 weeks.

There’s said to be a mountain lion living near the 13-14 hole.
Met Sheryl and Noel great neighbors next door with Molly the Maltese. Enjoyed spending time at camp visiting . Guys didn’t get to talk much. 😂
