Alaska August 28-Sept. 5

James 1:2-4 says, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.

We certainly had a list of trials this time. One of ships engines needed repair, so no trip in to see the glaciers, got to the airport in Dallas and get a call from the flight attendant that says they are about to shut airplane doors, get to Seattle and Wayne & Marcia’s hotel reservation is messed up, ships arm didn’t work on North Star that goes out above the ocean, then Gregg and I got Covid at the end of trip. BUT ( I know you shouldn’t start a sentence with that word but it does fit) we had an beautiful room with a balcony, huge luxury ship with lots of clean entertainment, great variety of buffet food , reservation sit down dining and Chop House dining that we enjoyed, went to new towns and did new excursions. So, ( oops!) we hardly noticed the trials for enjoying all the blessings of seeing Alaska, again.
