Left home at 6 a.m. and drove 480 miles, headed to meet April, Luke and Will in Marion, NC. Made it to Hoover, AL. , and set up in the RV in the Hoover Met Rv Park which is really like a part of the parking lot where they play the SEC baseball tournament but with full hook ups. ( Not sure why I picked it) While the RV was cooling down we found the Mossy Rock Preserve to walk the trails, let the dogs get some exercise and swim.( the dogs not us) It’s 92° at 3:30 this afternoon. The scenery was pretty, with a brook running beside the trail but it was still hot walking the shady trails.

After getting something to eat we’ll hit the sack and start out early. I’m so excited to see my oldest daughter and her 2 boys which we only see a few times a year. They live in Philadelphia where she is head of the Physiology Dept. at Ursinus a liberal arts college in Collegeville. The boys are 12 and 8.
