Stayed close to park today. Enjoyed relaxing.

placeholder://When it’s time to plow many times they put blinders on the mules to keep them from becoming distracted. This enables them to cut clean, straight rows. He is probably aware that after his work is done he will be carried back to rest in a safe barn with plenty to eat.

There have been times as I’m entering church that I send a whisper prayer up asking God to put my blinders on. I don’t want to be distracted by things that take away my attention from learning, encouraging others, and worship our God who deserves our focus to be on Him. I also can look forward to the day when our work is done to be taken to our heavenly home and rest in His Glory.

Proverbs 4:25,26

Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.
